Georgia Tarpon & Shark Season

Tarpon arrive along the Georgia coast with the summer heat, and during the peak months acres of rolling fish can be found around the Golden Isles. Georgia tarpon regularly exceed 100 pounds and deliver powerful runs, spectacular jumps and a memorable challenge. Tarpon are released boat-side, so bring a camera for that once-in-a-lifetime photo.
