The Golden Isles of Georgia
The Georgia coast stretches approximately 100 miles from just north of Jacksonville, FL between the St. Mary's River and Savannah River. Most of the coastline remains untouched with only four of the thirteen Georgia barrier islands publicly accessible. These include Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island, Sea Island and Tybee Island. Brunswick and the Golden Isles receive little fishing pressure and it's proximity to Atlanta, Savannah and Jacksonville makes it an ideal fishing getaway.
Learn MoreRedfish
Redfish will readily strike bait, lures and flies. Their habit of tailing in shallow water and the schooling of bull reds at times in open water off beaches make them a favorite target of sight-casters. Reds hit hard and run strong, particularly in skinny water.
Tarpon
Considered one of the great saltwater game fishes. They are prized not only because of their great size, but also because of the fight they put up and their spectacular leaping ability.
Seatrout
Seatrout found inshore and nearshore in and around marsh flats, shorelines, deep holes and channels and above oyster bars. Spotted seatrout make excellent table fare.
