Georgia Charter Fishing - Nearshore Fishing
Coastal Georgia Fishing Charters
The coastal fishing off of St. Simons Island, Sea Island, and Jekyll Island provide excellent year-round nearshore fishing opportunities. An abundant variety of fish are available to target including tarpon, sharks, bull redfish, tripletail, jack crevalle, and spanish mackerel.
Nearshore fishing in the Golden Isles is a fun experience for novice or advanced anglers. Especially rewarding is one of Captain Greg's specialty "trophy hunter" Georgia bull redfish trips in the surf during the spring and fall.
Offshore Georgia Fishing Charters
Georgia offshore waters offer many year-round offshore fishing opportunities. The mild weather in the Golden Isles and St. Simons Island permits trolling and bottom fishing for a wide variety of fish such as king mackerel (kingfish), cobia, barracuda, sheepshead, grouper, snapper, and black sea bass.
Fishing for grouper, snapper and black sea bass is best in the fall; while sheephead, king mackerel, cobia and barracuda fishing is best in late spring and early summer.
